This week’s ASOR Player of the Week isTreon Sibley.

It’s not often that a special teams player receives the POTW, but it’s also not common to have as good of a game as Sibley had Saturday.

The Redshirt Freshman scored his first career touchdown against the Warhawks, as he pounced on ULM’s muffed punt in the endzone. Sibley would later block a punt which resulted in another Flames touchdown.

With special teams being a concern coming into this game, Sibley and the Flames special teams extinguished that thought with a dominating performance, scoring 27 out of the Flames 40 points.

Performances and plays like Sibley’s will be crucial for the Flames as they enter the tougher portion of the 2020 schedule. That begins with ACC opponent Syracuse this Saturday.
