Liberty improved to 5-1 on the season following Saturday’s win at UMass, 48-24, in Amherst, Massachusetts. The Flames picked up the win behind starting quarterback Johnathan Bennett while Shedro Louis rushed for three touchdowns and Demario Douglas had 134 receiving yards and a touchdown. Liberty returns home to take on Gardner-Webb this coming Saturday with kickoff scheduled for 3:30 p.m. and streamed on ESPN+.
