Liberty is in the mix for Billy Edwards, Jr., a 3-star quarterback from Lake Braddock High School in Burke, Virginia. Edwards announced his top 13 schools on Tuesday, as the Flames are joined by East Carolina, FIU, James Madison, Kent State, UMass, Miami (OH), Ohio, Old Dominion, Toledo, Wyoming, William & Mary, and Yale.

The 6’3″, 195 pound pro-style quarterback had nearly 30 offers before trimming his list. The 2021 prospect is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 36 prospect in the state of Virginia and the No. 43 pro-style QB in the nation.

As a junior, Edwards completed 152-of-255 passes for 2,714 yards, 31 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions. He added 450 yards on the ground and 5 additional touchdowns.
