Liberty bounced back with a win at home on Saturday night against New Mexico State, stopping a two-game skid to even its CUSA record at 3-3 and 15-4 overall. The Flames have just one game this week, playing at FIU on Saturday, the first of three straight road games. The Flames are currently at No. 86 in the updated NET rankings, down from last week’s ranking of No. 72.
Auburn is currently ranked No. 1 in the NET, followed by Duke, Houston, Tennessee, Florida, Iowa State, Alabama, Illinois, Kansas, and Purdue to round out the top 10. You can see the entire rankings here.
The Flames continue to be the highest ranked team in CUSA, followed by No. 97 Middle Tennessee, No. 129 UTEP, No. 135 New Mexico State, No. 136 Louisiana Tech, No. 145 Western Kentucky, No. 147 Jacksonville State, No. 174 Kennesaw State, No. 183 Sam Houston, and No. 244 FIU.
