The fall sports athletic calendar is underway with several Liberty teams in action. We will provide weekly updates on all of Liberty’s NCAA Division I teams competing this fall.

CROSS COUNTRY

The Liberty women’s trio of Calli Doan, Ava Gordon, and Kayla Werner posted the three fastest 5K times in rpogram history during Friday’s Joe Piane Notre Dome Invitational. Their efforts helped the Lady Flames record a sixth place team finish. The men finished 16th in their race at Notre Dame.

Catherine Farrell recorded a runner-up finish as she shattered her 6K personal best set two weeks ago. She paced the group of Liberty runners who competed in Saturday’s Paul Short Run women’s open 6K race.

Liberty will again split its runners between two different meets on Oct. 15. The top Flames will head to Stillwater, Oklahoma to preview the 2022 NCAA national meet course at the Weis-Crockett Invitational. Another group of Liberty runners will head to Earlysville, Virginia for the Panorama Farms SC 23 Invitational.
