Liberty lost to JMU this past Saturday to open the season at 1-3. Could bowl eligibility be in question? Now, the Flames prepare to play at Old Dominion.
Several outlets have updated their bowl projections this week and we have assembled those projections for where Liberty is being pegged.

- Sports Illustrated: Bahamas Bowl vs Miami Ohio (0-3)
- Sports Grid: Armed Forces Bowl vs Navy (3-0)
- USA Today: Bahamas Bowl vs Buffalo (2-2)
The Flames finished the 2024 campaign with an 8-4 record that included a loss to Buffalo in the Bahamas Bowl. It marked a sixth straight appearance in a bowl game. Liberty has now won eight or more games for the 15th season in program history, including six straight years.



It would be a miracle for Liberty to get a bowl game this year! The Maine game (FCS) revealed a lot of red flags that have turned out to be real. Maybe next year!
