Liberty assistant men’s basketball coach Vic Sfera will be joining new head coach Ron Sanchez’s staff at UNC Charlotte.
Sfera has been on the Flames’ sidelines for the past two seasons, coming to Lynchburg after two years at the University of Virginia as the director of scouting/recruiting. He’s also spent time at Northern Arizona and Memphis. Sfera spent a total of four years at UVA dating back to 2010, which is where Sanchez was an assistant coach until being hired to his first head coaching gig at UNCC earlier this offseason.
