The Flames are back in action Thursday night at the Millis Center to take on the High Point Panthers. Tip is scheduled for 7pm.

Liberty will be looking to stop a 2 game losing streak while the Panthers are looking to extend their win streak to 2 after defeating Presbyterian in their previous outing. High Point is 8-9 on the season, including a 3-3 mark in conference play. Scott Cherry’s squad has benefited from very strong play at home, as evidenced by their 7-1 home record, including a perfect 3-0 home conference record.

The Panthers are led by a trio, as Andre Fox, Jahaad Proctor, and Brandonn Kamga combine to score over 53% of the team’s points. Fox leads the team in scoring at 17.3 points per game, up from his 12.7 average a season ago. The junior guard is tied for 2nd in the Big South in scoring. Proctor is a transfer from Iona, who is currently averaging 16.2 points per game after sitting out last year due to NCAA transfer rules. Kamga is a transfer from Northeastern who is averaging 10.8 points per game.

The Flames lead the all-time series against High Point, 23-16, and have won 4 straight. Ritchie McKay is 7-1 against the Panthers during his time at Liberty.
