Liberty has added a commitment from junior college defensive end Michael Floyde, announcing his commitment just days after an official visit to campus in Lynchburg this past weekend.
Floyde is a 6’3″, 245 pound edge prospect originally from Las Vegas, Nevada and Coronado High School. He has spent this past season at Garden City Community College. As a two-star prospect, Floyde played in 11 games and recorded 47 tackles, 6 sacks, and a forced fumble. He had offers from New Mexico State, Sam Houston, Louisiana Monroe, Central Michigan, Nevada, Western Michigan, and others. He took visits to New Mexico State, Nevada, and Western Michigan before heading to Lynchburg.
