Fresh off the program’s 4th ever NCAA Tournament appearance and first win, Coach McKay and the Flames picked up a huge commitment from Isiah Warfield on Wednesday night.

Warfield is a 6’5″ guard from Sewickley Academy in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. He’s a 3-star rated prospect and had offers from Duquesne, Southern Utah, and Hampton. 247Sports gives him a .8906 ranking, the highest rated commitment in school history ahead of current signee Kyle Rode who is rated at .8678.

A season ago, as a sophomore, Warfield was named first-team all-state in Class 2A after averaging 16 points per game on a team that won the WPIAL Championship after a 24-5 season. This year, Warfield scored 25.2 points per game.

Warfield is a junior in high school and part of the class of 2020, joining point guard Drake Dobbs as the first two commits for McKay and the Flames in the class.
