The Flames are one of the least penalized teams in the country at just over 4 penalties a game, good for 5th fewest in FCS. The Chanticleers are penalized on average 6.5 times per game which ranks 69th.
Liberty is ranked 15th in the country in turnover margin at an average of +1 per game while the Chanticleers rank 30th at +0.5 per game.
Both Liberty and Coastal are nearly identical in net punting at 34.15 yards (Liberty) and 35.17 yards per punt (Coastal).
Neither Liberty or Coastal have been able to get much going in the kick return game this season. Both teams rank in the 50s at about 21 yards per return.
