Who else could it be other than Big South Tournament MVP Ashton Perritt? Over the course of the tournament, Perritt was 10 for 25 with 5 RBIs, 2 runs, and 2 home runs. He also had 4 saves on 5.1 innings pitched giving up 0 runs and just 3 hits with 10 strikeouts.

Next Up:
Liberty heads to NCAA Regional Play for the first time since 2000. The Flames are the #3 seed in the Columbia, South Carolina Regional. The Flames will take on #2 Clemson on Friday, and then either #1 South Carolina or #4 Saint Louis on Saturday.

For those unfamiliar with the Regional format, there is a 4 team double-elimination tournament. The winner advances to the Super Regionals next week.
