Liberty wide receiver Antonio Gandy-Golden has been named a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award Watch List, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced Monday.

The Biletnikoff Award, named in honor of Fred Biletnikoff, has been given to the most outstanding FBS receiver in college football. Biletnikoff is a member of the pro and college football hall of fame after an All-American career at Florida State and an All-Pro career for the Oakland Raiders.

Gandy-Golden (Sr., Dallas, Ga.) was one of 12 semifinalists named for the award, included alongside Wake Forest’s Sage Surratt, Alabama’s DeVonta Smith and Jerry Jeudy, SMU’s James Proche, USC’s Michael Pittman Jr., Oklahoma’s CeeDee Lamb, LSU’s Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase, Oregon State’s Isaiah Hodgins, Minnesota’s Rashod Bateman, and Arkansas State’s Omar Bayless.

AGG is currently second in all of FBS with 1,244 receiving yards this season, trailing only Bayless from Arkansas State. The Liberty senior has 64 receptions and 8 touchdowns as well.

The three finalists for the prestigious award will be unveiled November 25, 2019 while the winner of the 2019 Biletnikoff Award will be announced as part of the Home Depot College Football Awards Show held on December 12, 2019. The formal presentations of this award will be made at the Biletnikoff Award Bank hosted by Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, Florida on February 15, 2020.
