Following Saturday night’s game at Brigham Young University, Liberty’s Antonio Gandy-Golden and Buckshot Calvert have risen up the FBS statistical rankings.

AGG had 10 receptions for 162 yards and 1 touchdown against the Cougars as he moves into first place among all FBS players with 1,244 receiving yards. He has been in second place most of the season, but he surpassed Arkansas State’s Omar Bayless who did not play this past week. Bayless has 1,168 receiving yards with three games to play in the regular season while Gandy-Golden and the Flames have two games remaining.

Calvert had 303 passing yards Saturday night on ESPNU against BYU as he moved up to 5th in passing yards this season among FBS quarterbacks. His 2,941 passing yards this season trails the FBS leader, Washington State’s Anthony Gordon, who has 3,794 yards. LSU’s Joe Burrow, SMU’s Shane Buechele, and San Jose State’s Josh Love check in at second through fourth.

Gandy-Golden was named to the 2019 Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watch List this summer, marking the second straight season in which he has appeared on the watch list. The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the outstanding FBS receiver in college football. He was also recently selected to play in the Senior Bowl.

Buckshot was named to the 2019 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award Preseason Watch List this summer which annually recognizes the outstanding senior or fourth-year quarterback in college football.
