November 11 began the signing period for Division I baseball, and Liberty and head coach Scott Jackson announced the signing of eight student-athletes as part of the Flames’ 2021 recruiting class.

RHP JEREMY BEAMON

Beamon is a 6’4″, 230 pound pitcher from Providence High School in Charlotte, North Carolina.

RHP RYAN BUTLER

Butler is a 6’3″, 197 pound pitcher from Glenvar High School in Salem, Virginia. His fastball has been clocked at 91 mph. During his senior season, Butler allowed 0 runs in 17.2 innings pitched while allowing 8 hits with 30 strikeouts and 6 walks. During his three year high school career, Butler had 43.1 innings pitched, while allowing 42 hits with 57 strikeouts and 11 walks, as well as a 1.90 ERA.

RHP/INF COLE HERTZLER

Hertzler is a 6’3″, 210 pound prospect who could play in the infield or as a right-handed pitcher for the Flames. He is from Boyertown Area High School in Barto, Pennsylvania.

LHP GARRETT HORN

Horn is a 6’2″, 185 pound pitcher from Glenn High School in Kernersville, North Carolina.

INF/OF NATHAN KEETER

Keeter is a 5’8″, 155 pound prospect from Wilmington, North Carolina where he attends Coastal Christian High School.

OF TYLER KEHOE

Kehoe signed with North Carolina out of high school where he played in 5 games during the 2020 season as a freshman. He was 2/5 batting during his time with the Tar Heels before opting to transfer following the pandemic shortened 2020 season. He transferred to Northwest Florida during the summer where he will play the 2021 season.

He was ranked the No. 40 outfielder in the country and No. 6 prospect in Pennsylvania out of high school by Perfect Game. Kehoe was a four-year starer at pitcher and in the outfield at Archbishop Carroll High School. He batted. 390 and stole 48 bases during his career, while hitting .409 as a senior. The 5’10”, 182 pound prospect had offers from South Carolina, Clemson, Florida, Louisville, and Texas A&M out of high school.

INF ADDRIAN MCNEAL

McNeal is a 6’0″, 175 pound right handed prospect out of Redan High School in Lithonia, Georgia who projects as a middle infielder.

C RYAN SHIEH

Shieh is the top ranked catcher in Maryland, according to Perfect Game. The 5’11”, 180 pound prospect is from Bishop McNamara High School in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
