Liberty (18-11, 13-3) is at home for senior night as the Flames play host to Longwood (6-21, 3-13) Thursday at 7pm.

1. Longwood is coming off a 79-72 loss at Radford on Saturday.

Khris Lane had 32 points to lead the Lancers.

2. The Lancers are on a 13-game losing streak.

They started conference play 3-0, but haven’t won a game since January 4th against Presbyterian.

The Flames jumped out to 16-0 and 35-9 leads early in the game and never looked back.

The school’s single season record is 44.0% set by Charles Richardson and Matt Hildebrand in 1989 and 1993, respectively.

5. The game marks senior night for the Flames’ 2 seniors, John Dawson and Ray Chen.

Dawson and Chen each transferred to Liberty from prior schools. Dawson from Marquette and Chen from Belmont Abbey.

The Flames will have to win out and need losses by both Winthrop and UNC-Asheville to clinch the #1 seed.

The Flames won 13 games in 2010-11 and have won 12 on 3 prior occasions.
