Liberty has added an elite wide receiver commitment to its Class of 2026 as three-star Amiri Acker has committed to the Flames following his official visit this past weekend.

Acker is a three-star and top 100 class of 2026 receiver according to 247Sports out of Crescent Hi High School in Iva, South Carolina. The 6’2″, 185 pound receiver caught 28 passes for 604 yards and 6 touchdowns last season. In addition to his talent on the football field, Acker is also an all-state performer in the 100 meter, 200 meter, 4-by-100 relay and the 4-by-400 relay.

His offer list is impressive and includes Boston College, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Michigan State, NC State, South Carolina, Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Georgia Southern, Marshall, Memphis, Troy, UNLV, USF, and others. Acker took a visit earlier this month to South Carolina and was also scheduled for an official visit to Kentucky last week. He previously named a final four of Liberty, South Carolina, Cincinnati, and East Carolina.

Acker is the first wide receiver to commit to the Flames in the Class of 2026 and the 10th commitment overall.
