Liberty has added a commitment from 2026 linebacker Kaden Catchings following his official visit to campus this past weekend.
Catchings is a 6’2″, 220 pound linebacker from Flowood, Mississippi and Hartfield Academy. A three-star rated prospect, his offer list includes Ole Miss, Arkansas State, Jacksonville State, Memphis, Old Dominion, Toledo, Western Kentucky, USF and others. He took an official visit to South Florida earlier this month. Liberty offered Catchings in May.
Last season, Catchings had 37 tackles in 13 games played. He also plays running back where he rushed for over 1,000 yards and 15 touchdowns on 8.4 yards per carry. Catchings is the 12th commitment in the Class of 2026 for Liberty and the first linebacker in the class.
