Liberty has added Tony Arnett to its Class of 2026, as he announced his commitment.
Arnett is a 6’1″, 180 pound defensive back from Phenix City, Alabama. The three-star prospect took an official visit to Liberty earlier this month, the first of three OVs he took this month.
Arnett has numerous offers including from Liberty, Arkansas State, Charlotte, Jacksonville State, Georgia Southern, Old Dominion, Western Kentucky, South Alabama, Troy, Arkansas State, Navy, and others. He says that in addition to Liberty, Western Kentucky, South Alabama, and ODU are recruiting him the hardest.
Liberty started recruiting Arnett following his junior season of high school at Central High School in Alabama. The Flames turned up the heat on Arnett during the spring, offering him and getting him to campus for the official visit during a large weekend of official visitors, the biggest recruiting weekend of the summer for Liberty. Arnett has spent most of his time in high school playing at safety, but he has also played some corner during practice but not yet in a game.
