The Kennesaw State Owls were the surprise CUSA Champions last December after a 10-4 season under first year head coach Jerry Mack. The Owls posted a 7-1 mark in conference play before beating the defending CUSA champs from 2024, Jacksonville State, 19-15 in the CUSA Championship Game. After winning the CUSA title in 2023, the program’s first year in the league, Liberty has been out of the conference championship game the past two seasons and were just 3-5 in conference play in 2025, finishing in 8th place. Can the Flames find their way back to the championship picture and to the title game in 2026?

Here’s what to know about the oddsboard:
The Favorites: The Flames and the Hilltoppers top this board, perhaps somewhat surprisingly. Liberty struggled to a 4-8 overall season last year. Meanwhile, Western Kentucky has been a consistent program under head coach Tyson Helton, but the ‘Tops haven’t won the championship in a decade. Jacksonville State has reached the CUSA Championship Game each of the past two seasons and currently have the third best odds while last year’s champ, Kennesaw State, has the fifth best odds.
