Liberty has picked up its third commitment of the 2024 class, coming from safety Devin Henderson.

Henderson commits to the Flames on the heels of his official visit that he took last week. We caught up with him following his trip as he recapped the visit and time in Lynchburg.

Following his trip to Liberty last week, Henderson took an official visit to Appalachian State this past weekend, but he has decided to commit to the Flames over the Mountaineers and more than 20 total offers.

Henderson is a 5’10”, 175 pound athlete from Cass High School and Cartersville, Georgia. His offer list includes Liberty, FAU, Georgia Southern, Hawaii, Troy, East Carolina, Arkansas State, Tulane, UAB, Coastal Carolina, Appalachian State, Army, South Florida, Georgia State, JMU, Charlotte, and Navy.

Henderson is also close friends with Ronald Moore, a fellow 2024 defensive back who also took an official visit to Liberty last week.

The third commitment in the class of 2024, Henderson joins a growing group that includes RB Caden Williams and OL Rex Lahr. Both Williams and Lahr were in Lynchburg a week ago as part of the official visit group, helping to recruit Henderson and the others to join them at Liberty.
