2019-2020 Season Schedule Outlook

Editor’s Note: Beginning this season, ASOR will significantly increase our coverage of Liberty’s hockey program with frequent updates throughout the season, game previews and recaps, and player features. Since this is a new feature, all of our hockey coverage will be free for the beginning of the season. Sometime during the fall, our hockey coverage will become a Club feature. Liberty Men’s DI Hockey will soon be hitting the ice for the 2019-20 season! Let take a look and breakdown some key match ups this season:

Coming off one of the best seasons last year, the Flames will play many familiar foes with a few new opponents on the schedule.

Key Match-ups

Ohio University: If you missed last year’s exhilarating OT win over Ohio, you need to see the highlights. An interesting factor for this upcoming year, is that they will be without longtime head coach Sean Hogan who stepped down.

Adrian College: One of the most dynamic programs in the ACHA the last few years and the 2018 ACHA National Champion. Liberty can use this team as a good measuring stick to see where they stand among the nation’s top programs.

Stony Brook: Under the direction of Head Coach Chris Garofalo, Stony Brook has become a strong program both in conference and nationally. When these two teams meet, it is always a feisty battle.
