Update 11/13/13 – Allen signs with the Flames

Update 8/24/13 – Allen commits to Liberty, becoming the Flames 2nd commitment in the class of 2014.

Update 8/23/13 – Allen has narrowed his list to 3, Liberty, Abilene Christian, and Campbell, according to PhenomHoopReport. He will be announcing his decision on Saturday, and he says “he wants a school that has a bright future, one with a plan for him, and overall fit.”

Update 7/26/13 – Allen plans on making his decision and committing in mid-August according to recruiting analyst Justin Byerly.

Update 6/10/13 – Allen will be visiting Liberty this weekend. Allen picked up an offer from Furman.

Liberty was the first to offer Allen on May 29th. Campbell has offered Allen as well. Other teams showing interest include Wake Forest, Appalachian State, East Carolina, George Mason, Boston University, and Fairfield. Allen started his high school career at Cary High School. He then transferred to Word of God Christian Academy. His head coach at Word of God left and went to Christian Faith Center Academy where Allen followed him.

Allen is described as a “versatile athlete who excels in the open floor. He is a deadly shooter off the dribble and is an extremely fluid athlete, capable of dunking on anybody in his way.”
