It’s the dreaded bye week. It comes around every year, and every year we dread it. Need something to take your mind off no football game this weekend? Here’s a few ideas:

1. Sleep

You don’t need to stay up until 11pm watching a game, or wake up early to travel to a game. So, enjoy your Saturday by sleeping in!

2. Be a couch potato

When you finally do wake up, sit on the couch and do nothing all day. You won’t get this chance again until December, so take full advantage!

3. While you’re being a couch potato, watch football

If you’re anything like me, you miss being able to sit at home at watch football from noon to midnight. Being at every Liberty game, you can’t do this. So take full advantage this weekend.

4. So, what games to watch?

You can start with Presbyterian @ Charleston Southern at 3pm on ESPN3. Is CSU a legitimate Big South title contender this year?

5. After dinner, flip over to ABC to watch #5 Notre Dame @ #2 Florida State

Nationally, it’s the biggest game of the weekend.

6. Spend time with family

My family gets the raw end of the deal most Saturdays in the Fall, so I will definitely be making it up to them this weekend.

7. Go to the pumpkin patch

It may be the only chance you get prior to Halloween.

8. Pray for the week to fly by

Because after all, what’s a Fall Saturday without Liberty football?
