Liberty picked up a commitment Sunday night from Jacob Bodden, a 6’5″, 300 pound offensive lineman from Hoover High School in Hoover, Alabama. Liberty was his only FBS offer, but he had offers from several FCS programs including Samford, Mercer, Eastern Kentucky, and Southeast Missouri.

Bodden picked up an offer from the Flames in early June and visited campus during the summer. He becomes the 8th commitment in the class of 2018 and first offensive line pickup for Coach Gill and Staff. The other 2018 commits are wide receivers Sean Queen, JT Wood, and Noah Frith, running back Uriah West, tight end Mason Yost, defensive lineman Emmanuel Cater, and defensive back Marcellous Harris.
