1. Juwan Wells will lead the Big South in sacks.

As a true freshman, Wells recorded 5 sacks last season including 3 in the final 2 games. With Wells expected to be a major contributor from the beginning of the season, his numbers will increase significantly.

2. Damian King will amass over 1,500 total yards.

KingHe’s so versatile and will see an increased workload in all phases of the game. Whether it’s passing, receiving, rushing, or in the return game, King will become a household name this season.

3. Stephon Masha will be named the Big South’s Offensive Player of the Year.

The offense will be wide open and up-tempo as new offensive coordinator Joe Dailey hopes to run 85 plays a game. With the ball in his hands on every snap, Masha should be able to put up some gaudy numbers.

4. The Flames will win the Big South’s auto bid.

After a 1-year hiatus, Liberty will defeat Charleston Southern in Lynchburg on November 12th to stake claim to the Big South’s automatic bid to the playoffs. It will be the Flames’ 2nd playoff appearance in school history.
