The Liberty Flames men’s basketball team has released its updated roster and jersey numbers for the 2025-26 season, featuring several newcomers.
Incoming freshmen Zander Carter, Drew Grimes, Torr Sorensen, TJ Drain, and Brady Kester have been added to the roster alongside transfers JJ Harper and RJ Jones.
- Carter is listed at 6’6″, 195 and will wear No. 1.
- Harper is listed at 6’5″, 200 and will wear No. 9.
- Grimes is listed at 6’9″, 205 and will wear No. 15.
- Sorensen is listed at 6’7″, 220 and will wear No. 20.
- Jones is listed at 6’8″, 240 and will wear No. 21.
- Drain is listed at 6’8″, 220 and will wear No. 23.
- Kester is listed at 6’8″, 220 and will wear No. 24.

Returning starters Colin Porter, Kaden Metheny, and Zach Cleveland highlight a group that return to help lead Coach McKay’s Flames this coming season. The Flames will be looking to repeat as Conference USA Champs after sweeping the regular season and conference tournament titles last year before advancing to the NCAA Tournament.
