Selection Show Hosts (L to R): Greg Gumbel, Greg Anthony, and Seth Davis
For the 3rd time in school history, Liberty will see their name come across the screen on Selection Sunday. Here’s a little cheat sheet on what to watch for tonight during the 6pm show.

Who are the #1 seeds?
This will determine who Liberty will be paired with and where they will play should the Flames win their First Round game in Dayton. Duke, Indiana, Gonzaga, and Louisville are most likely.

Where will we play?
We will obviously play on either Tuesday or Wednesday in Dayton, but depending on which #1 seed we are paired with will determine where we will play in the second round , if we make it there.

It would be nice to stay in Dayton to take on Indiana so we do not have to travel between the First and Second round games. Or if you want to face Duke & Seth Curry, we will be headed to Philadelphia.

When will we play?
Tuesday or Wednesday? 6:30 or 9:00?
Then will we play the Second round game on Thursday or Friday?

If we’re matched up with Gonzaga or Louisville we will be playing on Thursday.
If we’re matched up with Duke or Indiana we will be playing on Friday.

Who will we play?
Who will we play in Dayton during the First round? JMU, Long Island, and others are the possibilities.

After the 6pm Show
After the Selection Show on CBS, you can tune it to TruTV for a Selection Sunday special at 7pm. It will provide “in-depth analysis of the tournament field,” and will be hosted by Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, and Kenny Smith.

Or you can flip it over to ESPN from 7-9pm for their special “Bracketology” which is hosted by Rece Davis and a number of analysts including Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg, Dick Vitale, Dan Dakick, Bob Knight, Andy Katz, Bruce Pearl, Digger Phelps, Jay Williams, and Joe Lunardi.
