USA Today states that Turner Gill is a candidate for the Western Michigan job. Rumors have quickly begun swirling with this information. Western Michigan is looking to replace Bill Cubit after 8 seasons following a 4-8 season. Western Michigan is a part of the MAC, which Coach Gill is very familiar with having spent 4 seasons at Buffalo. Coach Gill just completed his first season at Liberty finishing 6-5 and in a 3 way tie for the Big South Conference Championship.
