Update 5/9/17: Updating our previous post, Frazier states he will transfer from Liberty.

Farmer Legal, PLLC, the same law firm that is representing Cam Jackson in his lawsuit, had the following to say about the Frazier situation:

Update 5/3: Javon Frazier was arrested on April 30th and charged with “SALE, DISTRIBUTE MARIJUANA” a class 5 felony, according to online court records. He is scheduled to have a hearing on May 17th.

Stephon Masha and Tyrin Holloway intend to transfer from Liberty and have had their transfer requests approved, according to multiple sources. We have also learned that Javon Frazier will not be returning to the Liberty football team in the fall, also according to multiple sources.

Masha, a redshirt-senior, was named the team’s starting quarterback at the end of spring practice a year ago. After starting the first 4 games of the 2016 season, Masha was replaced as starting quarterback by true freshman Stephen Calvert. Following the 2016 season, Masha was moved to wide receiver and then running back during the spring.

Holloway started all 11 games in 2016 and has 22 career starts at cornerback. He led the team last season with 5 interceptions while also registering 36 tackles, 6 pass breakups and 11 pass deflections.

Frazier is a redshirt-sophomore defensive lineman who saw limited time in a reserve role last year.
