The Liberty football online roster has been updated, and there have been several changes.
Most of the additions are the new freshman, but there are a couple of new names in Austin Jones (WR, Sr) and Trystin Knowland (OL, Fr). James Passmore has also been added to the roster. Passmore is an offensive lineman who was on the team in 2014 and 2015, but removed from the roster this past spring.
There are also 7 defections from the roster, most notably Denvre Daniels, Justin Guillory, and Bo Swanson.
Daniels was a redshirt-freshman who had been switched from wide receiver to running back at the end of the 2015 season. He finished the 2016 spring practice session 4th on the depth chart at running back behind Todd Macon, Carrington Mosley, and Frankie Hickson.
Guillory was a redshirt-junior cornerback who started 15 games and appeared in 19 over the past 2 seasons. Most of his action came as a redshirt-freshman in 2014 as he only saw playing time in 5 games in 2015.
Swanson, a redshirt-junior, finished the spring 3rd on the quarterback depth chart behind Stephon Masha and Rudiger Yearick.
Others no longer listed on the roster are Ridge Boykin, Jordan Cabral, Christian Morgan, and Marc Wilson.
