According to a source, highly recruited Jason Boswell has heavy interest in Liberty. Boswell is a 6’6″ 185 pound point guard out of Stamford, Connecticut. He holds offers from Cincinnati, Dayton, George Mason, Houston, DePaul, Providence, Iowa State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Miami (FL), Seton Hall, Villanova, Virginia Tech, and Hofstra.

247sports has Boswell rated as a 4 star and a top 250 player in the country. His future150 scouting report states “he’s got size, he’s got handles, and he’s got a knowledge of the game. This 6’6″ point guard is a leader on the floor who gets the job done in ways other than scoring. He understands how to run an offense and a team, and that is not an easy thing to find at the high school level. Whether it’s moving the ball, feeding it to the post, or getting into the lane and making things happen, he seems to always make the right play.”

The class of 2013 point guard was on campus recently, and stated he wants to be at Liberty. The Flames are in a dicey situation though as they do not have any available scholarships for the 2013-14 season. If Boswell ends up at Liberty, he would have to pay his own way his first year.
